This is definitely one of my shortest tips so here are the steps:
1. Find the program shortcut of the program you want to speed up.
2. Right click on the shortcut and click properties.
3. Make sure you’re in the shortcut tab and click in the target box where you can type.
4. Press end on your keyboard and type in (space)/prefetch:1
5. Click apply.
6. Click ok.
7. Open your program and see how fast it opens up now!
This works with ALL programs and significantly increases the loading time! You will no longer have to sit and wait for your program to open, before you can finish reading the loading box it will be gone! I hope you guys find this tip as helpful as I did!
Headphones, we all have them lying around. In fact, most of us have a few pairs.
To name a few that I have, the official apple headphones, a pair of sony over the ear headphones, a pair of old school sony headphones, noise canceling maxell headphones, I have a set of skullcandy full metal jacket earbuds, and last but not least, the grenade X boosted headphones.
If you were to ask me how many microphones I have, I would tell you two. As with most people, I don’t have a lot of microphones laying around and for a while I didn’t have any microphones at all. I solved this problem by using a pair of headphones as a microphone.
I wouldn’t recommend using a pair of headphones as you only microphone, but it will work if you need a microphone and you can’t get your hands on one right away. Who knows, you might find a great pair of headphones that work perfectly for you as a microphone, but you’ll never know if you don’t give it a shot!
So first, look at the end of your headphones and count the rings. You will most likely have two rings, this is for the left and right audio. If you have three rings this means you have a mic built into your headphones already and you’re all set!
After counting the rings, if you have two rings, plug the headphones into a camera or a computer’s microphone input jack. Now, start talking into the headphones and see if your device picks up your voice. Try talking in both earphones at once to get a clearer and louder sound. If this works you’re all set! Just be sure to post a comment telling me what kind of headphones you used and what you plugged them into. If it didn’t work, try another pair until you get one to work!
Hope this will keep all of those horrible videos where people record themselves typing a tutorial in notepad without a microphone!
The Hannspree 23″ widescreen HD monitor review! The cost of this monitor is about $220. Amazon currently does not offer the Hannspree 23″ monitor for sale so I can’t give you a link to buy it, but you can easily find it by searching for, “Hannspree 23″ monitor”.
I got the Hannspree 23″ monitor as a replacement for my Hannspree 22″ monitor that the hdmi broke on. Thankfully, Best Buy gave me the upgrade for free and extended my old warranty so that the new 23″ monitor is covered by my warranty that I bought for my 22″ monitor.
While I was using my old Hannspree 22″ monitor for almost a year, Hannspree was working hard on fine tuning their monitor designs and I would have to say I didn’t realize so much could be changed for the better!
One of my concerns about the 22″ monitor was that disassembly was very difficult. Hannspree redesigned the entire neck of the monitor. They made the neck and base two seperate parts that connect together with four prongs. These two pieces are very easy to take apart, you just need to squeeze two of the prongs together and they slide right apart. Hannspree also changed the way the base connects to the back of the monitor. They made a button in the back that makes it awesomely simple to take the base off of the monitor.
While Hannspree was busy redesigning the base of the new 23″ monitor, they also put some thought into redesigning the monitor itself. They moved the power light indicator to the side of the monitor for easier visibility and made the entire monitor quite a bit thinner. They left the control buttons in the same spot, but changed the type of buttons a little bit for easier usage.
After seeing and using this new 23″ monitor I was amazed at how many things were changed and improved on the 23″ Hannspree monitor! I think the older version or this new version are great options for someone on a budget who is looking for a high quality monitor for their computer or for their gaming system!

The Hannspree 22″ widescreen HD monitor review! The cost of this monitor is about $200. Amazon currently does not offer the Hannspree monitor for sale so I can’t give you a link to buy it, but you can easily find it by searching for, “Hannspree 22″ monitor”.
I bought my Hannspree monitor back in July of 2008 and all the way until now the only thing that has gone wrong for me was the HDMI port. I bought a warranty when I got the monitor so it’s still covered, but I’m still not sure what caused the HDMI to go bad. Either way, I still have no dead pixels, all the buttons still work, the speakers still work, and with all the times I’ve taken the base off, it’s still not cracked.
If you don’t already know, I use this monitor as my computer monitor and for my PS3. As far as the resolution for the computer, it is just awesome! The Hannspree 22″ has a matte finish so you don’t have to worry about fingerprints showing up and it is extremely crisp and clear. It shows very distinct blacks and whites and is just about the best you can get out of DVI.
The quality of the monitor through HDMI is just as good as HD can get! The response time is advertised as 3000:1 and that is pretty quick and it shows! If you’re looking for a monitor to use for gaming for any system, and you’re on a budget, I would say the Hannspree 22″ is the monitor for you.
Before I purchased the Hannspree 22″ I checked all of the local electronics retailers and compared the display quality and the features of all the monitors that they offered. When I was done, I came to the conclusion that if you take all of the features into consideration, the price can go up very quickly. As I kept looking I came across the Hannspree 22″ and for the price, the features, and the display quality, I knew that it was the best choice.
If you’re looking for a very flexible base, you might not want to get the Hannspree 22″, because it doesn’t offer the widest tilt range, but for normal desk usage, it should work perfect! Another thing is, if you’re worried about the base not being the sturdiest or the strongest, I’ve got to give it to Hannspree because they did an awesome job on the strength and design of the base. The only thing that they could have done better with the design is make a wider range of tilt for the monitor.
Overall, I would have to say there isn’t anything that I would change except the tilt ability. Other than that I think Hannspree got everything else right!
