This being said, I think there are a few things I need to discuss with all of you first.

First of all I want to say thank you all again for every one of you who has followed along with me and all of the new subscribers who keep my subs list growing bigger every day!

Next, I want to say that, as usual, the video schedule for this summer is going to be a little different than the rest of the year. I want everybody to get out this summer and do things that you will remember instead of sitting inside playing video games and watching my reviews. I’m not saying I don’t appreciate all of you watching and supporting my videos, because I most definitely do, but I want to get out this summer and these videos take a lot of time and effort to put together, so lets all just get out and enjoy the weather instead!

I also want to say that if you still want to see what I’m doing with my summer, check out my daily vlog channel and join the community over there for a bit of a change! The link is: GIMRvLOGS

Also, if any of you have any ideas for new reviews or even video types I should get into starting in September, please let me know, I really want to expand the videos to better interest all of you guys!

I think that’s about all for now, I will be releasing a couple reviews during the summer, but I can’t sate a date for when that will happen. Otherwise, I really hope you guys have an awesome summer and I hope you will come tell me about it on my vlogs channel!

I’ll see you guys again in September!!

24HR Live Session Shoutouts

I want to thank everyone who came and stopped by the live session to keep me company and just hang out and have a good time, I really appreciate it and I hope you had as much fun as I did!

I also want to thank all of you 1,000+ subscribers that I now have and I was working on putting a video together just listing out all of your names, but that would mean I would have to type out over 100 pages of YouTube user names, so unfortunately, that is a little too much, but you know who you are and I want to personally thank each of you!

The 24 Hour live session montage is still being worked on, I have to sort through 24 hours of footage and compile it into under 10 minutes, so it is going to be quite a task, but it will be out in a couple of weeks hopefully.

Also, the giveaway does not have a set date yet, but I’m giving you guys a couple more weeks to enter and you will be further notified as I figure out when it is going to go down!

Lockerz.com FREE Beta Invites

Lockerz.com is a website like SwagBucks where you earn points to redeem for various prizes. The only problem is that most of these sites are extremely unreasonable and it is nearly impossible to receive an actual prize, but thanks to Lockerz you can pick from prizes from the moment you sign up!

Just contact me with your email, I’m constantly online, so as soon as I get your request I will submit your email to Lockerz.com for them to send you an invite! PLEASE only send me emails that are not already in the system, meaning that you have NOT asked someone else to send you an invite yet. THANKS!

NOTE: Due to high traffic on Lockerz.com, sometimes Lockerz delays the time they send out the invites so don’t worry, it’s on it’s way, just be patient!

One other thing you’ll love about Lockerz are PTZ (or “Pointz”). PTZ are Lockerz’ proprietary loyalty “currency” that you earn whenever you buy, watch, play, share, invite friends, or even just show up on Lockerz. Redeem PTZ at the PTZ Place for incredible prizes, great products and dream experiences.

Too Good to Be True? Why are we doing this? To thank you for joining early. To build a Lockerz community of cool, stylish, cutting-edge people who love to buy great brands. To give you a taste of how PTZ will work when we go live this fall. And to test out different prizes and PTZ levels. Thats key. This version of PTZ Place is a test. PTZ levels will change when the full Lockerz site launches.

Lockerz is set to launch sometime in the Fall 09. Members who sign up now will get to explore and help shape the site before the launch. We hope you’ll join us.”

Madden 08 Review

Madden ’08 was released on August 14, 2007 for Playstation 3, Playstation 2, Xbox 360, Xbox, Wii, PSP, DS, and Mac.

The Madden series has been around pretty much as long as video game systems were invented. The Madden series always has mixed reviews, either you love it or hate it, there really isn’t any option in-between.

So lets get started, basically, my opinion on Madden NFL 08 is I really don’t like it. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the work put into the game and how far along the graphics have come since back in Playstation 1 days, but I really have never been a big Madden fan. The main reason why I even got this game was because I got it through a special offer from PlaySwitch.com and I ended up paying nothing for the game.

Graphic-wise, Madden ’08 is decent for being released early in 2007. I’m not saying they’re amazing, but they’re definitely not categorized in the games with the worst graphics of 2007. The main issue with the graphics is the crowd. Now, if you’ve played any of the Madden games in the past, I’m sure you’ve realized that the crowd is always the worst designed part of the game and no matter what, it always needs more work. I completely understand that it’s not the main focus and it’s very time consuming to create thousands of individual characters with different animations, but I know these next-gen systems can handle it if only someone would put in the time to develop it.

Madden 08

The controls are the same as every other game in the Madden series and I still am not too fond of them. I mean, they’re easy to get used to and easy to play with, but sometimes the camera does some funky stuff and when you try to make tackles, it’s about a 50/50 chance that the player you’re controlling will do exactly what you want. In other words, it’s not uncommon that you will tell your player to dive tackle the guy with the ball, but instead your player dives the opposite direction resulting in a touchdown for the opposing team. This can get very frustrating and I think this is what deters most people from the Madden games.

This time around, EA decided to add in a new concept of earning rings as you progress through the game. I’m sure this has been appealing to many fans, but for the average gamer, the rings just makes it confusing and ends up being a turn-off. I personally have not even tried to get any of the rings or even gone through career mode or played any tournaments in Madden NFL 08. The only thing I’ve played is quick matches against the CPU and against friends and family. I really just have no interest in the rings or even managing a team, but I’m sure this is a positive feature for many people, I just don’t like it myself.

Overall, Madden NFL 08 is just like any other Madden game, the only difference is the graphics and the rosters have been brought up to date. If you’re looking for a sports game to play once in a while with your friends, I would say go ahead and purchase Madden 08, but otherwise I would have to say it’s up to you and you’re personal taste in video games.

So, some people hear Madden and completely start tuning you out, while others hear Madden and you receive their full attention. In other words, either you love Madden or you absolutely hate it. In my opinion, I would have to say I’m on the side of hate it. Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate on it, I just hate the game. I think it has a time and a place, like at a party or if you’re just chillin with a friend and you don’t have any other multiplayer games, but I would say for playing by myself, I really don’t like it.

Now it’s not so much that I don’t like the concept, because I enjoy football, but I would rather be outside playing football for real rather than playing in front of my TV. Either way, I have to give Madden props for being consistent and releasing a new edition to add to the Madden collection every year and sometimes even more than one.

So overall, I’m just going to say Madden 08 is great if you’re a fan of the Madden series, but if you didn’t like it before, you’re not going to like it now.

Be sure to check back for the full Madden 08 review!
