Cannon Powershot ELPH 300 HS Unboxing
It’s that time of the year again, my birthday! So you all know what that means, time for a new camera!
This year I chose to go with the Cannon Powershot ELPH 300HS for a few different reasons, so let me tell you what those reasons are!

Firstly, I want to just let everyone know that this camera was close to impossible to find down here in Fort Myers, Florida. I literally went around the entire city trying to find this camera in any color except red and I ended up with a floor model in silver.
One of the main reasons why I picked this camera is the size of it and that even while it’s that small it still shoots full 1080p videos as well as doubles as a regular digital camera, so for me, it saves pocket space, which is always a good thing for a geek.
As I had been doing my research trying to find a suitable camera, I also saw lots of people ranting and raving about the audio quality that came along with the ELPH 300HS, and while audio quality is always a factor, I really didn’t think it would be that significant of an upgrade from the Kodak Zi8, but I bought it with an open mind and all that I can say is, boy did the audio quality prove me wrong. The audio quality of the Cannon Powershot ELPH 300HS is simply amazing!
One thing that I don’t really appreciate very much is the microphone positioning, because it’s easy to cover it with your fingers and if you’re moving the camera or there is slight wind, the microphone is so sensitive, that all you hear is the wind.
Other than that, I’m all ready to give this a shot and am looking forward to using this camera everyday! The full review will be up soon!
