After a week of testing, it is finally time to get this review done! I’ve used this every day and even brought it on a skiing trip, so I can say that if it lived up to that testing, then I think it’s worth at least a consideration!

Let’s start off talking about the build quality of the Exolife iPhone Battery Pack. Overall, this case is pretty solid and is extremely thin for having a battery pack built in! Now as you may know, I like my products to have a little bit of weight to them, so I know they’re built to last and when I drop them they’re not going to just float away. This being said, the Exolife iPhone 4 Battery Pack has just the right weight to it. The only thing I think needs a little bit of remodeling is the clear bumper clip on piece, because it’s a little too flimsy for my liking.

Next, as far as how much battery extension this case has, it just about doubles the life of your iPhone. Now I’ve heard people say that it more than doubled their iPhone case, but for me it seems to give it just about 1 more full charge. In my opinion, this is pretty amazing considering how skinny this case is, it’s hard to believe how much extra life this thin case can add to your iPhone 4!

As far as overall design, I think Exogear did a very good job on this one! The design and layout of the Exolife case is pretty eye catching in my opinion. I like the matte black color and the grippy surface on the back. The one and only buy-breaker that I found was that there is no lip or bevel on the front of the case to protect the screen from facedown drops or placement. In my opinion the entire idea of me purchasing a case is to protect the front screen from popping and seeing that the Exolife case currently does not have that built in, it’s something to keep in mind before purchasing!

As far as my personal overall opinions on the Exolife case, I think everything is well designed and works just as it should. The case fits well in your hand and doesn’t hinder texting or making phone calls. Another great thing is this case can take a beating and it’s going to differ all damage from the phone to just the case which the the idea of a case in the first place.

As far as recommending this for purchase, I would say that if a $90 case is in your budget this is probably a pretty good option for you. I think this would be super convenient to have on a trip, because having a dead phone after you get off an airplane sucks and everyone’s been there at one time or another, so this prevents this and for that it gets a recommendation from me to you!
